Across the globe, The Partnership for Women’s Wellness advocates for health systems to prioritize women’s health by investing in prevention, accessible screening, and early-stage treatment of noncommunicable diseases. From Europe, and Latin America, to Asia-Pacific, Africa and beyond, PWW brings together NCD stakeholders to identify unmet needs and align on shared priorities. Through raising awareness and policy engagement, PWW empowers stakeholders to spotlight the disproportionate impact of these conditions on women and the value of prevention, and access to screening, early-stage diagnosis and treatment.
PWW is a project of the independent non-profit Global Alliance for Patient Access. To learn more about GAfPA, visit www.gafpa.org.
Across the globe, PWW serves as a hub for patient advocates to connect, collaborate and learn more about policy issues affecting women’s access to preventive services, accessible screening and early-stage diagnosis and treatment.
PWW provides a platform to organize and advance advocacy efforts by:
Raising awareness among health care system stakeholders – including policymakers – about the burden of noncommunicable disease on women and the critical value of prevention and early-stage diagnosis and treatment; and
Informing policy decisions with the lived experiences of women with chronic conditions, alongside the latest medical evidence demonstrating the benefits of equitable access to preventive services, screening, and timely treatment.
